This wheel-thrown porcelain stoneware mug features a song that was popular amongst the young ladies of Portsmouth in the Eighteenth Century, and the accompanying illustration is based on a drawing by Hugh Thompson from a 1904 edition of 'Evelina' by Fanny Burney.
Thrown on the pottery wheel and painted by hand, each mug is one of a kind.
